Chromecast tips week 48 Mission: Impossible and #followme

With a Chromecast in your television or a Chromecast Audio in your speaker, view and listen to your smartphone’s media in better quality. That is useful, but then you have to know what to look at and listen to. In addition to our monthly Netflix tips, we also have weekly Chromecast tips. Here we give some current viewing and listening tips, both for free and paid services.

1. Frank & Alzheimer

Together with Alzheimer Nederland Radio 3FM-DJ Frank van der Lende makes a series of videos about Alzheimer’s. Frank’s father was diagnosed with this disease at the age of 61. Through the video series, the DJ wants to inform young people about what happens next.

In the first episode, for example, he talks to his father, in the second episode he looks at the role of music in the lives of people with Alzheimer’s. Then three episodes will follow.

2. The Meg (Play Movies)

This film is briefly summarized as Jason Statham versus a very large shark. You do not really need to know more. In the film Jonas Taylor (Statham) is hired by an oceanographer to rescue a research team from a megalodon: a prehistoric shark of more than 22 meters long. Do not expect an intelligence film, but good entertainment.

3. Watching: Soof season 2 (Videoland)

Soof is back at Videoland and gets his own cooking program on television. How does she combine that with her chaotic life, while her father also turns up? Expect another season full of comical and heart-warming moments, surprises and accidents.

4. Listening: David Bowie – Glastonbury 2000 (Spotify)

In 2000, David Bowie made a legendary performance at Glastonbury. It was perhaps one of the best Glastonbury performances ever, but the images and music have never been released in full. Until now, because the whole performance can be heard via Spotify. Of course with Bowie’s biggest hits such as Changes, Life On Mars ?, Rebel Rebel, Heroes and Under Pressure.
