Many Android users have been calling for compact phones for several years, which was fulfilled this year by Asus, for example, which introduced a top flagship that you can comfortably control with one hand. Is Samsung going to do something similar?
The Galaxy S22 gets a smaller display
We probably wouldn’t go that far. This year’s Galaxy S21 has 6.1 ″ display, while last year ‘s Galaxy S20 offered 6.2 ″ display. According to the latest information brought to Twitter by leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S22 will be available 6.08 ″ display. Thanks to the attached image, we know that it should be about the same size as the iPhone 12. It’s not exactly a compact phone, but it does look like that compared to most Android flagships.
The S22 battery has only 3700mAh. Yes, it’s true.

This is also confirmed by the reduction of the battery, which should have a new capacity of 3,700 mAh, while this year’s Galaxy S21 offers a 4,000 mAh battery. By the way, the last time we encountered a smaller display was the Galaxy S9, which boasted a 5.8 ″ panel.
