The Asus ROG Phone 5 is official: a gaming smartphone with 16 GB of RAM

An Ultimate range is also part of the game with a RAM increasing to 18 GB.

For its mobile gaming, the Asian company offers three different versions. The Asus ROG Phone 5 works thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It also has 5G network compatibility. The phone provides power capable of running even the most powerful mobile games. Performance management is provided by a dedicated application to manage priorities. A Snapdragon Elite Gaming function provides gaming performance close to a PC. The Taiwanese brand incorporates a battery charged at 6000 mAh. It also includes a 65W fast charge allowing you to play when the smartphone is charging from an AC outlet.

In the design aspect, Asus offers a beautiful object in the line of ROG range. The touch screen is the other star of the ROG Phone 5. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel displays in Full HD and a refresh of 144 Hz. The content will therefore be pretty to watch and the interface responsive. According to the press release, the displayed touch latency is 24.3 ms, the fastest on the market today. The camera includes a triple lens of 64, 13 and 5 megapixels. A final strong point stands out by DxOMark tests. The phone gets 79 points in audio score, for enjoying the sound. The phone will be available on several e-commerce sites from March 29.

Accessories will also be marketed to improve the gaming experience, such as pads or supports.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 is available in three versions:

• The phone with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage at a price of 799 euros
• The phone with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage at a price of 899 euros
• The phone with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage at a price of 999 euros

The ROG Phone Limited Edition comes in two versions:

• The Pro with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage at a price of 1,199 euros
• The Ultimate with 18 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage at a price of 1299 euros
