We are ushering in the month of February, but first we look back at the first month of the new year. January was a month when we saw new smartphones; think of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Emporia presents the EmporiaTablet, a tablet especially for the elderly. The update to Android 12 appeared for various devices.

KNMI
An update for the KNMI app was badly needed, and it was published in January. In version 4.2.1 of the new KNMI app we see a completely fresh design, which has been aligned with the Belgian KMI app. Radar images for the future have disappeared, but the navigation bar and more pleasant controls are new. In addition, the precipitation forecast is now indicated in millimeters instead of just percentages.
