January was a month when we saw new smartphones; think of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Emporia presents the EmporiaTablet, a tablet especially for the elderly. The update to Android 12 appeared for various devices.

OnePlus showed off the new OnePlus 10 Pro, the only smartphone from the 10-series to date. Motorola showed a cool gadget for Android Auto and Google came up with new features for Wear OS. At the beginning of this month, news came out that Nokia may charge you for additional updates.

KNMI

An update for the KNMI app was badly needed, and it was published in January. In version 4.2.1 of the new KNMI app we see a completely fresh design, which has been aligned with the Belgian KMI app. Radar images for the future have disappeared, but the navigation bar and more pleasant controls are new. In addition, the precipitation forecast is now indicated in millimeters instead of just percentages.
