The 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy S10
The Galaxy S10 will be Samsung’s flagship smartphone next year. The phone would come in four versions, one of which would be cheaper. The most anticipated model will no doubt be the one that will benefit from 5G.
The year 2019 will certainly be marked by the race of 5G smartphones. We now know that the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus will be the first to offer a 5G phone in Europe. This is thanks to a partnership with the British operator EE. However, there are uncertainties as to the name of the model. Samsung, for its part, will instead tackle the North American market. In official announcements, operators Verizon and AT & T have indicated a collaboration with the South Korean technology giant to develop a Galaxy 5G smartphone. Note that the phone is expected for the first half of 2019.
Keep in mind that 5G will be more than a network. The technology will allow users to enjoy an almost real-time connection. It also implies new possibilities that have not been explored before. “ With Samsung, we plan to bring the best in technology and innovation to our customers. The future we imagine with 5G is just beginning, and it’s a good time to be a user “said David Christopher, CEO of AT & T.
The 5G certainly has many advantages, but its integration into a smartphone is also more complicated. According to information from Wall Street Journal Samsung would test the new network on the Galaxy S10 for already a certain period. The South Korean site The Bell also indicates that the number of Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will be limited. Out of 40 million copies of Samsung’s future flagship smartphone, only 2 million units will carry a 5G antenna. These could also be the most expensive phones of the South Korean manufacturer.
