Apple, Google and Elon Musk have been at odds for a while now. Now the CEO of Tesla and Twitter, among others, says he might make his own phone. What exactly is going on?

Elon Musk’s Tesla Twitter Phone Coming?
We’ve been hearing rumors of a Tesla phone for years, but it’s never materialized. Now Telsla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk gave to Twitter that it might happen. The reason? Apple may be removing Twitter from the App Store, and Elon Musk obviously disagrees.
This is because Musk is going to make some controversial changes to the just-bought Twitter. He wants to make it the complete online ‘Wild West’. However, these implementations are not without criticism.
Apple’s App Store threatens to kick out Elon Musk’s Twitter
Because according to Musk, Twitter should be a sanctuary for opinions, some advertisers no longer want to advertise on the platform. Apple and Google are also threatening to remove Elon Musk’s app from their App Store and Play Store. However, Elon Musk’s “free speech absolutist” stance could lead Twitter to violate guidelines for these app marketplaces.
There are no signs yet that Apple has actually considered this move, but Elon Musk is already responding on Twitter. He says that if there is no other choice, he will make a telephone himself.
It’s not that far fetched. Tesla (also from Musk) has its own chip technology, software with games, apps and more than a million customers. It remains to be seen whether Musk will actually implement these plans, but it is yet another controversy this month around the richest man in the world.
The controversy surrounding Twitter in a nutshell
Elon Musk recently shared plans to revive all suspended accounts and Apple may not be waiting for that either. For example, former president Donald Trump can express his opinion online again after all the controversy (but has not yet done so). In addition, Musk wants to introduce new ‘check marks’ on Twitter. Elon also thinks that you should be able to edit tweets afterwards.
All in all, Twitter seems to be becoming a place for free opinions. Critics fear that this will become a breeding ground for fake news. Mainly the extreme right and extreme left are diametrically opposed to each other.
