Telekom comes with eSIM, it will have a big advantage over the competition

Telekom is the last Slovak operator that has so far hesitated with the implementation of eSIM. What customers have wanted for years, they finally get. Compared to the competition, even for free, which is a huge advantage. The operator stated the information in a press release.

From today, August 31, 2021, customers of the pink operator can activate the electronic SIM card (eSIM). Customers with a mobile flat rate and a prepaid card can request it. The price list for the eSIM card remains unchanged, its activation is completely free.

Telecom: How to activate eSIM?

The procedure is simple. The customer can request an electronic SIM card at any Telekom center, or by telephone on the toll-free customer line 0800 123 456. Subsequent delivery of the card is completely electronic.

The customer will receive a link to the QR code by email, which is enough to scan the smartphone. The smartphone must have internet access during this, but this applies to all operators. The SIM card is automatically inserted into the device and can be used immediately.

From the start, Telekom’s eSIM card supports more than 20 devices from three major smartphone manufacturers:

Telekom won this mini-battle as part of a competitive battle. He is the only Slovak operator offering the opportunity to set up eSIM completely free of charge.
