Powerful mid-range smartphones from China are conquering Germany. Xiaomi has shown the way and with Oppo, another big player is stirring up the German market. Like OnePlus, Oppo belongs to the Chinese group BBK Electronics, which is known for its price-performance hit in the smartphone segment. Given the technical characteristics of the Oppo Reno 4Z 5G you can hardly believe that the cell phone in the curved shop with 7 GB LTE and telephony / SMS flat rate currently for only 12.99 euros offered in the month. GIGA does the math: What is the contract good for?

Let’s get the slide rule out: If you use the contract for the minimum contract period of 24 months, the costs are 24 × 12.99 euros basic fee + 1 euro for the Oppo Reno 4Z 5G. There is no connection fee, shipping costs are also free. So a total of 312.76 euros.

According to idealo.de, the mobile phone currently costs at least 276.90 euros when purchased individually, the Bluetooth headphones around 35 euros.
