Take a look at the first pictures from Battlefield Mobile -apkrig

Suddenly, a notation of Battlefield Mobile appeared in the Google Play store, including a caption and the first pictures. It promises popular gameplay and destruction, which we know from classic parts. We are supposed to see maps and modes that we like, but also new ones. We will create our own loadout from weapons and gadgets and sit down in various combat vehicles.

Even in the case of the EA mobile game, they attract the widespread devastation of the battlefield and we will allegedly experience similar situations as in the big games. There will be Assault, Support, Medic and Recon classes to choose from, and then you will create your own report according to the style that suits you best. Although the label is much longer, it is mostly made up of general phrases and marketing loops, which basically describe the standard Battlefield and would be to repeat everything by carrying wood into the forest.

It will be a completely new stand-alone game for mobile phones and tablets, which has been tailor-made for these devices from the very beginning.

Update: More information appeared in the FAQ on the web. They show that the first smaller tests will start in Indonesia and the Philippines. These will start in the fall and will only be on Android. But over time, more countries will be added. When the team is ready to take the next step, it will launch a special pre-registration page. As the test approaches in that country, a prompt will also appear on Google Play, where you will also be able to sign up. However, DICE warns that test slots are limited and will not reach all.

Battlefield Mobile will be free-to-play, of course requires an internet connection and will include microtransmission. But it only has to offer cosmetic items, a battle pass and unique things to unlock. Because the game is still under development, it is currently optimized only for devices with Android 7.0 and higher. However, the list of supported phones and tablets will grow even more, according to EA. Because it is a standalone new game, it does not offer a mobile version of cross-play with PCs or consoles.

As for the content, the authors are still working on it. But at its core it is a real Battlefield. At the beginning, it only offers a map of the Grand Bazaar and Conquest mode. More will come later. Progress from the beta will not be transferred to the first public version. The authors point out that media representatives do not yet have preliminary access to the game.

The original message continues: Of course, it’s not so completely lightning from clear skies. DICE confirmed the development of the mobile Battlefield in April this year, stating that it should be released next year. The question is whether this will happen even in a limited mode a little earlier, or whether it is just a preparation for a beta or soft launch in some territories.

DICE claims that bringing Battlefield to other platforms has always been their ambition. But it was supposedly preceded by years of prototyping. The Industrial Toys studio is primarily in charge of development, but of course it works closely with DICE on the novelty. It will be a completely new stand-alone game for mobile phones and tablets, which has been tailor-made for these devices from the very beginning. But it promises a full-fledged experience.

Who does it

Battlefield Mobile develops the Industrial Toys studio, run by Alex Seropian, one of Bungie’s original founders. They have a special team of mobile game specialists, but they work with other people from DICE and other teams involved in the Battlefield series.
