Take a look at the first picture from the Crysis 2 -apkrig remaster

After recent hints and omissions, the Crytek studio started relatively openly lure on the remaster of the second part of the Crysis series. A short message first appeared on the official Twitter, followed by the screenshot itself. It should be noted, however, that the first responses were undoubtedly lukewarm than the authors apparently imagined.

Although, of course, there are many fans who appreciate the plan, much of the community is still challenging the idea. Some directly ask whether it still makes sense to improve a very handsome game at all. Others point out that the commercial project will compete with the fashion of skilled fans. However, the goal is undoubtedly to officially implement new technologies such as ray tracing and, above all, to get the game back on the current console, as some fans rightly point out. The PC version does not have to be the main motive and engine of the studio.

Crysis 2 was originally released in March 2011 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, almost 4 years after number one. It underwent an official remaster last July (Switch) and September (PC, PS4, Xbox One). And it did not go without reservations. In particular, the console version faced criticism from the pages of content and form, but the authors continued to improve it, even with regard to the arrival of new consoles. DLSS technology support has been added to the PC version. It will be interesting to see if the Crysis 2 remaster will have the native version for the new consoles straight away.

Improved threesome and battle royale?

However, a recent leak indicated that Crytek has other plans for the brand. It seems that the studio is planning, or at least planning for a new free-to-play battle royale title set in the world of Crysis. The third part of Crysis is also to be improved, and a complete edition will probably arrive in the end. Whether these games need improved versions, we will leave it to you. After all, no one forces customers to buy. But we will all probably agree that we would probably rather see the announcement of the new game.
