Video: Switching from Android to iOS
In the past, switching from Android to iPhone was quite tough, but not anymore. You can solve most of the work with one app: Switch to iOS. Just make sure you have a backup of your Android smartphone beforehand, the WiFi signal is good and both phones have enough battery. Even better: put them both on the charger.
Check? Then download the Switch to iOS app on your old Android phone. In the meantime, grab your iPhone and tap the option to transfer data from Android in the installation menu – when prompted. Then you connect the two devices with a code and indicate what you want to transfer.
From contacts, photos and videos to calendars and messages: almost everything can be transferred. Almost everything. The big absentee is WhatsApp. Unfortunately, it is still quite a fiddle to bring the Netherlands’ most popular chat app from Android to iOS.
