The synopsis of Super Mario Bros. The Film is connected with the video game from which it is taken: “A plumber named Mario navigates an underground maze with his brother, Luigi, in order to rescue a captured princess”. The film is directed by the tandem Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, but the brilliant Shigeru Miyamoto will have been able to supervise the whole thing (at least we hope so) as a producer. As for the soundtrack, it is provided by Brian Tyler and Koji Kondo.
