Summary from the Gearbox presentation -apkrig

This year’s presentations replacing the traditional E3 was joined by Gearbox, which chose the emerging film based on the motifs of its probably most famous brand – Borderlands. Thanks to this, in addition to Randy Pitchford, the director of the film Eli Roth, for example, was able to appear on the scene. And with him a few other key characters. As for the film itself, it is in about two thirds of the shooting and overall it is close to about half of the production itself. So the fans have no choice but to be patient.

Unfortunately, we did not see any new and unexpected revelations or surprises. At the end of July, the released Tribes of Midgard reminded Gearbox of a comment from the developers, and the previously unveiled third regular sequel to the Homeworld series is still in development. Unfortunately, more details are missing.

Gearbox also recalled a previous demo of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a spin-off of the Borderlands series with another heroine in the lead role. And word during the presentation also came up on the next-gen title Godfall. He, as was already assumed in April on the basis of speculation and leaks, loses the nickname next-gen and arrives at PlayStation 4 in the first half of August. On the plus side, future PS4 owners will automatically receive an upgrade option for the PS5 if they purchase a new console in the future. And for the record, Gearbox also announced a new Fire and Darkness expansion for Godfall, but even here this is no surprise, as the German rating agency, for example, has already taken care of the leak.
