Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Rocksteady Studio showed the second trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at the DC FanDome. You won’t find any footage straight from the gameplay, but the trailer features a bunch of links to the Batman: Arkham series – a familiar sign flashes at the beginning saying trackers may be runaway patients, and Agent Amanda Waller puts her team of unlikely heroes together in places where Batman first fought in Arkham Asylum.

And the links to the four games do not end there. As Suicide Squad members gather their gear, Gizmo plays a pair of well-known toys. King Shark borrows a hat previously worn by Riddler, and Harley Quinn shoots with Batman’s pull hook. A Batmobile with a light signal also flashes in the trailer, but it’s hard to say who is actually driving it and on whose side it is standing.

Negatives will swap roles with typical logs this time. Harley, along with Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and King Shark, will have to tame the Justice League in the open world of Metropolis, not just Superman from the first trailer. Green Lantern, Flash or Wonder Woman also took the dark side. But apparently they are not evil of their own free will and are involuntarily submissive to Brainiac. Penguin will also return, and a little surprisingly, Poison Ivy, who is probably not dead again.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is released in an unspecified period of 2022, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. You will be able to play it both alone and in cooperation for up to four players. If you start the game in singleplayer, you will be able to switch freely between the individual characters.
