Striking: Apple Watch Series 7 looks like iPhone 13
The new Apple Watch Series 7 has something in common with the equally new iPhone 13. What does this mean?
It is not common for Apple to introduce a new technology on two new devices. And yet that is the case with the Apple Watch Series 7 and the iPhone 13. Both devices were presented this fall by the American tech company from Cupertino. And both devices work with an integrated and touch-sensitive OLED panel. New on the iPhone 13, but also new on the Apple Watch Series 7.
All of this was discovered after iFixit took apart the new Apple Watch Series 7. There it was discovered that Apple uses the same components. It is now suspected that the Watch Series 7 may have come out later than Apple had actually desired. That’s back on top of the pile of other theories about this new smartwatch.
For example, the Watch Series 7 would have a very different appearance according to the leaked information than what Apple showed. That the Apple Watch Series 7 shares this technology with the latest iPhone is of course again fodder for speculators. But on the other hand, you don’t have to look that far. After all, if Apple hasn’t done something in the past. Doesn’t mean they’ll never do something like that. In this case, applying new technology to two new devices.
