Starlink satellite internet is already in Slovakia. It costs € 99 per month
SpaceX has started sending e-mails to Slovakia today informing them that the satellite Starlink is already available in Slovakia. The e-mail has also reached us, in the MôjAndroid.sk editorial office. This type of internet is especially suitable for people who live in remote areas where there is no access to mobile signal or data.
According to the company, Starlink should achieve a download speed of 100 to 200 Mb / s with a latency of about 20 ms, SpaceX informed by e-mail. The resulting speed will of course depend on the specific location and may be lower. In principle, it should be possible to use satellite internet anywhere without any problems.

You will pay 499 euros for the hardware (router, antenna and other components) and you will pay another 84 €, which is a handling fee together with postage.
About 2,000 satellites are already orbiting the Earth in low orbit to ensure a seamless connection. There will be a total of 12,000 of them. Starlink is already used by more than 145,000 users in 25 countries.
