Star rejects new series
The upcoming Harry Potter series is currently still looking for its ideal cast. A star of the films has now spoken out and announced that he will not appear in the new project.
After eight hugely successful films, dare Warner Bros. and HBO a new beginning in the Harry Potter universe. As announced in April 2023, a new series is to film all seven books. However, the films’ lead actor, Daniel Radcliffe, will not be available for the project, he has now revealed.
Harry Potter: Series must do without a star
Radcliffe announced in an interview with the website Comicbook that he would not appear in the new series. In his opinion, there is no need for a scene in which the old Harry symbolically passing the torch to the new Harry — and the new creators certainly wouldn’t need the stress of cramming a cameo scene for him into the project.
Thus, Radcliffe stated that he refrain from appearing on the HBO series wool. Nevertheless, wished the production good luck and success. (Source: comic book)

Harry Potter comeback possible in another way?
An appearance by Radcliffe, who is now almost 34 years old, would have been difficult to portray in the new Harry Potter series anyway. But with that hugely successful play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child There is already a project that shows an adventure in the life of an older Harry Potter. While rumors of a film adaptation of the sequel have surfaced repeatedly in recent years, Radcliffe 2022 has also given this project a tentative cancellation.
A return as Harry Potter would be too soon for him at this point, as it’s only recently that he feels like he’s made it out of the Potter universe intact. However, he never wanted to say never and thus left the door at least a crack open for a film adaptation in a few years. (Source: Variety)
