South Korean researchers unveil the first functional Hoverboard on all types of surfaces

Researchers from the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute and of theDaegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology succeeded in developing the first Hoverboard “low to the ground” truly capable of operating on any type of surface. Before the arrival of this prototype, the Lexus Hoverboard was the only technology similar to Marty McFly’s skateboard, but the device could then only work on metal surfaces which allowed the superconductors located in the board to work as magnets (which created a magnetic field strong enough to levitate the board).

The South Korean researchers’ electric Hoverboard is not only capable of flying over all types of surfaces, but it is also much more maneuverable than anything we have seen so far, not to mention its ease of carrying loads. heavy. As we can unfortunately suspect, this research prototype is not intended for sale… and that’s probably a shame…
