Sony Xperia Pro: first smartphone with HDMI connection
The new Sony Xperia Pro lives up to its name. This is not half done and the first smartphone with an HDMI connection!
A flagship of a smartphone is often given the name Pro or Ultra. But how Pro are those devices really? In any case, Sony lives up to the name Pro with this new Xperia. The smartphone is specifically aimed at professionals.
The smartphone was officially presented today and has a price tag of no less than $ 2,500. For that money you get a 6.5-inch OLED 21: 9 smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, multiple cameras on the back and a battery with a capacity of 4,000mAh. There is an HDMI connection at the bottom. This allows you to connect the Xperia Pro to a camera, for example, and thus function as a supporting monitor.
And then the bad news. You could already read in the previous paragraph that we were talking about dollar instead of euro. As far as is known, the new Sony Xperia Pro is not on the market in Europe. The tech company has the American market in mind with this new smartphone for professionals. Sony may come back to this decision later, but have no false hope. That can be a setback.
