Sony Xperia 10 III and Xperia 10 IV get Android 13

The manufacturer is rolling out a new update for two Sony devices. It is the update to Android 13 for the Xperia 10 III and the Xperia 10 IV. After the update you will have access to a number of new features and improvements.

Sony is rolling out the update to Android 13 for two Xperia 10 series devices. It’s the turn of the Sony Xperia 10 III and the Sony Xperia 10 IV, both of which are getting the update from now on. A few weeks ago, several other Sony models were already updated with Google’s latest Android version. Along with the Android 13 update, security update December 2022 is also included. Good to know is that the rollout is being rolled out in phases, so it may take a while until every user sees the new version arriving.

With the arrival of Android 13, you can take advantage of several new features and improvements. For example, think of the updated media player and even more color options in Material You. With the latter function, the colors of the set background are adopted in the interface. With Android 13 you also get more insight into the privacy and security of your device and several other improvements have been made, including speed improvements.
