Some new games from Bethesda will only be on PC and Xbox -apkrig

Microsoft has announced that the acquisition of ZeniMax Media is complete. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has welcomed Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog and Roundhouse Studios to the Microsoft gaming family.

According to him, Bethesda will continue to do as before, but at the same time he confirmed what some players were afraid of. Selected new titles will be exclusive to Xbox and PC in the future, although he did not specify whether it will be just a time exclusivity. It’s not even certain which games it should involve. Microsoft has previously indicated that something similar is possible and that it will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

According to Spencer, the $ 7.5 billion deal is to confirm the Xbox, PC and Game Pass as the best places to play. At this point, it is really premature to speculate whether any games from Microsoft will be released on competing devices later or not at all. But at least it wouldn’t have to be about previously announced games. And on the PS5, on the other hand, Deathloop’s time exclusivity from Arkane and Ghostwire: Tokyo from the Tango Gameworks team will be the first to arrive.

Bethesda is currently working on The Elder Scrolls VI or Starfield. There is, of course, another Fallout in the game. Of course, the new Indiana Jones or Wolfenstein from MachineGames is also at stake. There is also a lot of speculation about the future of Doom or Dishonored.

New Game Pass games and details on Thursday?

In addition to exchanging courtesies, we’ve learned that the Game Pass will actually expand another game from Bethesda this week, as previously speculated. Pete Hines also attracts this in his own contribution. Microsoft will tell you the details later. There is also speculation that he could broadcast a special presentation dedicated to Bethesda and ZeniMax on Thursday. However, the company has not yet confirmed this.

Thanks to this deal, the number of Microsoft’s first party studios has grown from 15 to 23. ZeniMax Media and its teams employ over 2,300 people.
