Xiaomi has today taken the curtain off two new smartphones. In addition, we also see a nice accessory that the manufacturer has announced. It’s the Mi Smart Clock, a smart alarm clock full of possibilities.

Xiaomi presented the Redmi Note 9T and Redmi 9T this afternoon. Together with these two smartphones, we also saw another new product that is being added to the Xiaomi portfolio. The manufacturer shows the Mi Smart Clock, a smart alarm clock full of functionalities, which we will also see in the Netherlands.

The smart alarm clock has a 3.97 inch screen with a touchscreen. You can display the time, weather and calendar here. You can also choose to use it as a digital photo frame. The Sunrise Alarm Mode ensures that the brightness of the screen increases slowly before waking up, which should ensure a quieter getting up. In addition, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Clock is equipped with Google Assistant and Chromecast, and you can manage various smart devices with it. Think of your security camera, but also other products. It is not entirely clear to us whether these are also products that are not from Xiaomi.

Thanks to Chromecast support, you can send music from your phone or tablet to the alarm clock to play. Some technical details; there is 1GB RAM and 4GB storage space. The Mi Smart Clock works on devices with Android 4.4 and iOS 9.0 and higher.
