Signal stickers

Signal is a privacy-friendly app, and in certain areas it is even stricter than competitor Telegram as you can read in our comparison. Yet it does have a lot less personalization options. The range of stickers is also limited. We explain how to access more than 2,400 free sticker packs.

First, let’s start with how you install the stickers that are already available for the messaging app by default. If you are in a conversation or group, you can tap the sticker button. You can find it to the left of the input box where your text appears. From that menu you can add stickers to a message. Then immediately tap the plus icon at the bottom right of the app, and then select the download icon next to each sticker package to install new packages.

Roadmap

There are also stickers from third parties, and in the step-by-step plan below we show you how to access a wide range of stickers. You can also find animated stickers.

  1. Go to signalstickers.com on your phone
  2. Search for sticker packs using the search bar or by scrolling. You can also view animated stickers by tapping ‘Animated’ at the top
  3. Then press a sticker package and choose ‘Add to Signal’
  4. Choose to open with Signal
  5. You can then view the package in Signal and then tap ‘Install’
  6. You can now use the sticker pack
