See (Apple TV+): a teaser for season 3, which will be the last
Apple TV+ today offers a teaser for season 3 of the series See with Jason Momoa. The streaming service announces at the same time that this will be the last season.
Jonathan Tropper, the showrunner and executive producer of the series, did the following statement to complete the project:
We’re thrilled to share this epic final chapter of See, which delivers all the intense drama, thrilling action, and heartfelt emotion fans have come to expect, along with what we believe will be a deeply satisfying conclusion to our story. Building a world without sight was a particularly unique and ongoing challenge that was met through the passionate and thoughtful collaboration of a phenomenally talented and diverse team, both in front of and behind the camera. The series was a monumental labor of love for everyone involved, and we are eternally grateful for how See has been embraced by viewers everywhere.
See takes place in a brutal and primitive future, hundreds of years after humanity lost the ability to see. In season three, it’s been nearly a year since Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) defeated his enemy brother Edo and bid farewell to his family to live remotely in the forest. But when a Trivantian scientist develops a devastating new form of visual weaponry that threatens the future of humanity, Baba returns to Paya to once again protect his tribe.
Season 3 of See will debut on Apple TV+ on August 26. There will be eight episodes in total, with a new episode every Friday.
