SCS will improve the map of California in American Truck Simulator -apkrig for free
The developers from the Czech studio SCS Software are not slowing down in their efforts and, in addition to new extensions and states for the American Truck Simulator, they are also returning to the existing ones. This, too, underscores the immense challenge facing them over the years in expanding and constantly updating the vast territory of the digital United States.
Already during the Christmas stream, the authors indicated that they were preparing a reskin for California, and now we have some details. What’s more, we can look at some of the planned adjustments in the pictures. Thanks to the fact that the teams of mappers in SCS are constantly growing, according to the study, they have the capacity to focus not only on future countries but also on those where we started at ATS in 2016.

Reskin, as the authors themselves call the novelty, will be added to the American Truck Simulator in the form of a free update and will come in smaller parts in the upcoming updates. However, the developers do not yet dare to estimate when the whole project will be complete.

As for the most significant changes, which drivers are sure to notice, according to the SCS, new agricultural control stations will be added at the state borders. Their purpose is to detect potential pests. When transporting goods to California, you must undergo a special inspection to determine that they are not infested with invasive species and have proper documentation. In practice, you can see it in the screenshots.
The whole process is said to work in the game similar to weight control. When you arrive at the border, based on what you are driving, you will be notified of a tour at one of the checkpoints. Once you pass, you can only continue.
