“Samsung’s 14-inch Galaxy Tab S8 tablet is not expected until 2022”
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series will not be available until the spring of 2022. The worldwide chip shortage is expected to be the cause of this. The line-up also includes a large 14-inch model, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Every year, Samsung launches a new range of its most powerful tablets with the Galaxy Tab S series. This year we were already looking forward to the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S8 series, but it seems that it will come out later than first thought, only in the spring of 2022. That reports the South Korean Naver. The Tab S7 series, on the other hand, came on the market in the summer of 2020.
Samsung will more than likely have to organize the launch of the premium tablets later due to the global chip shortage. That problem at tech companies is a result of the corona crisis, which stopped chip production for a period. When the factories went back to work, it also took time to get production going again, and if chips aren’t made for a while, you’re left with a global shortage. Certainly because many companies have also stocked up on extra large stocks of semiconductors in order to stay out of trouble.
Problem with the S21 FE
It is the same reason why the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is also delayed. The fate of Samsung’s cheaper S21 phone is still unknown, although it is rumored that Samsung will release the phone this fall with both the Snapdragon 888 and the Exynos 2100.
The rumors about the Galaxy Tab S8 series are still scarce for the time being, but we do know that Samsung is releasing an extra large tablet this time: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a large 14.6 inch OLED screen. The device has a large 12,000 mAh battery and supports the S Pen. Prices have also been leaked about the Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus and Tab S8 Ultra. They cost respectively 626 euros, 948 euros and 1117 euros.
