We are still awaiting the announcement of the new Galaxy A series, including the Galaxy A52. Now we get more information about the updates that the phone can expect. The same goes for the Galaxy Xcover 5.

Galaxy A52 gets fine update policy

Samsung has updated its update page with new information. We had known for a long time that the Galaxy A52 was coming, but now Samsung itself has also released some information about this at an early stage, DroidApp reader Rob tells us. Thanks to previous information, we already have an idea of what the smartphone will look like and what some features are. Now there is information about the update policy.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 will receive a security update every month. This becomes clear from the updated update schedule. That’s good news, because with the Galaxy A51, updates are rolled out once a quarter. With its predecessor, the Galaxy A50, Samsung did choose to make a security patch available every month.

The still unannounced Galaxy Xcover 5 will also update every month with a new update, according to the overview.
