Samsung will allow its users to receive and send SMS from a computer

Nowadays, there are already a few ways to access SMS messages on your computer. I’m talking about an application from Microsoft now Your Phone Companionwhich has been on the market since about the launch of Windows 10. Even Google is not idle and has its own application Messages. From now on, Samsung will not be left behind either. Samsung introduced Samsung Messaging, a handy tool that can receive and send SMS from your phone on a PC / tablet with Windows 10. Several users have reportedly already registered the application with Microsoft Store.

If you are already looking forward to the new application, do not rejoice much yet. Samsung Messaging are still in progress, and what’s more, the entire application is currently only available to a few Samsung devices that have 5G or 4G LTE support. Specifically, these are Samsung tablets and 2in1 laptops: Galaxy TabPro S, Galaxy Book 10.6 LTE, Galaxy Book 12 LTE, Galaxy Book 2 and devices with model number NT930CQAwhich could probably be the Galaxy Flex2 5G.

Simply put, you will see messages from your phone on these devices. The description that Samsung introduced with Samsung Messaging strongly suggests that the operation is based on usage application on your phone. It is quite possible that once the application is ready for a full release, the hardware restrictions on Samsung devices (mentioned tablets and 2in1) will be lifted and anyone with a recent Samsung phone and a Windows 10 PC / tablet will be able to use Samsung Messaging.

How useful is it to connect a PC and a phone for you?
