Samsung shares information security update January 2022: 19 own fixes
Samsung has already released the latest January security update for several models. The manufacturer is now also giving some more details about the own patches it has added.

Every month Samsung shares an overview with information about the security update. At the beginning of this week, the security update January 2022 was released. It contained dozens of vulnerabilities for the Android operating system. Thanks to the new overview that Samsung has put online, we find out which fixes Samsung itself has added to the January security patch. In total, this concerns 19 patches on top of Google’s.
Most of the vulnerabilities that are now being addressed are found in One UI 3, although there are also some patches for One UI 4. We also see that Samsung has worked on patches for the Knox system, some leaks in WiFi and Bluetooth. Also some other patches have been added.
