SmartThings is Samsung’s application that allows you to manage smart devices. Think of the robot vacuum cleaner, televisions, refrigerators, but also smart lamps from different brands and so on. From now on it is possible to operate these products that you have added to your Samsung SmartThings app via Android Auto. You can also link smart actions so that a certain action is or is not performed when you drive away or when you arrive home.

On the screen of SmartThings for Android Auto you can place up to six shortcuts for the smart devices. The operation in the Android Auto application is self-explanatory. Just tap and you’re done. It was previously possible to operate your SmartThings devices via Android Auto, but you had to link your SmartThings account to the Google Assistant.
