Samsung is working on new budget smartphones Galaxy A04 and A13s

Samsung is working hard behind the scenes on two new budget devices. In all likelihood, it concerns the Galaxy A04 and the Galaxy A13s. So two variants on existing devices. What will the devices have to offer us in the future?

Where many smartphone enthusiasts secretly always look forward to the new flagships of the manufacturers, it is the consumer who mainly looks for budget smartphones. For example, the Samsung Galaxy A12 was the best-selling Android smartphone of 2021, and therefore an important device for the South Korean manufacturer. The successor to the Galaxy A12, the Galaxy A13, also seems to be doing well. And the Galaxy A12 was a smartphone for less than 180 euros that reasonably managed to perform its tasks as a smartphone for that money. In his review, Daniel wrote the following about it:

The target group that wants to operate the Galaxy A12 buys this phone because of its low price, the long battery life, the extensive Samsung software and the modern appearance. The camera is also a plus, although that may not even really matter on a phone under 200 euros.

New budget devices

According to Sammobile, Samsung is therefore expanding its portfolio of budget smartphones. According to the website, Samsung is now working on the Galaxy A13s and A04. Two units with model numbers ‘SM-A137F’ and ‘SM-A045F’. Not much is known about the devices yet, but it is thought that the A04s will have three cameras and a 3.5mm audio jack. Furthermore, the device would get an Infinity-V display. Which means that the notch has the ‘shape’ of the letter ‘V’.

The Galaxy A13s will also be a variant of the Galaxy A13 and will therefore resemble the latter device a lot. The A13s will probably be improved in some areas. You can think of a faster processor or improved cameras.
