Samsung phones have problems with fast wireless charging
Some Samsung phones are currently having problems with wireless charging. Devices like the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 charge very slowly or not at all. A software update may help. A growing number of people are complaining that their Samsung phone no longer charges properly with a wireless charger. It mainly concerns owners of a device from the Galaxy S20 series. The Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also seem to be affected by the problems.

Chromecast will soon partner with Nest Audio
Google is working on integration between the Nest Audio speaker and Chromecast. This allows you to use the speaker for the sound of your television, for example when watching movies and series. Google confirms to the Wall Street Journal that it is working on Nest Audio Chromecast integration, but unfortunately the company gives little further details. It does seem that the integration is first added to the Chromecast with Google TV, which appeared recently. It is unclear whether you will soon be able to connect Nest Audio speakers with the Chromecast Ultra (and older versions).

Android Auto gets more personal: different wallpapers and more
It seems that your Android Auto will soon be able to adjust a little more and the software will thus become more personal. For example, instructions have been found to set a different background. The bright minds of XDA-Developers have picked out an Android Auto installation file. Via these so-called apk-teardown indications have been found that users will soon be able to set a different wallpaper. It concerns a few preset wallpapers, choosing your own image or, for example, a photo is not yet possible.

Brand new OnePlus Nord N10 5G and N100 only get Android 11
The update policy of the OnePlus N10 5G and OnePlus N100 has been announced. The manufacturer only promises an update to Android 11 and two years of security updates. That is remarkable, because Android 11 has long been out and competing smartphones will receive updates for longer. OnePlus will release the N10 5G and N100 this month in the Netherlands for 349 and 199 euros respectively. The smartphones still run on Android 10 and not on Android 11, which has been available since September. Striking, because the OnePlus 8T that appeared in October, is immediately equipped with Android 11.

These Samsung devices now fall under the Android Enterprise Recommended program
Samsung joins Google’s Android Enterprise Recommended program, which is especially interesting for business users of a Galaxy smartphone. We list the suitable devices and benefits. The Android Enterprise Recommended program was founded by Google in 2018 and is aimed at business users of Android smartphones and tablets. Devices that bear the certificate meet various hardware requirements. In addition, they receive at least one major Android version update and a security update at least once per quarter.

Android will be suitable for ultrawideband: you can do this with it
The Android operating system will receive support for ultrawideband, according to changes from Google. Ultrawideband is a new technique that already works on a handful of Android smartphones and iPhones and makes interesting new features possible. By default, Android does not support ultrawideband, which is often abbreviated as UWB. That’s about to change: Google is working on UWB support for the Android operating system, it discovered XDA Developers. It is not yet clear whether UWB will officially debut in Android 12, which is expected to arrive in the fall of 2021.
