Samsung has launched the Advent challenge of healthy smartphone use

According to a new survey, more than half of the working-age population and most young people say they spend more time with their smartphones than they would like. Half of the young people would even leave the house without a wallet than without a mobile phone. Company Samsung because of this, it is launching an Advent calendar for the healthy use of mobile phones in Slovakia and the Czech Republic called #SklapniMobil.

Samsung conducted the survey in November 2021. It included a sample of 1,050 Slovaks aged 18 to 65. 54.4% of respondents answered positively to the question “Do you spend more time with your mobile phone than you would like?”, And even 79.2% of respondents in the 18-26 age category .

The same age group said they would not leave home without a mobile phone rather than a wallet (65.4% of respondents) and 40% of these young people have a mobile phone at hand at Christmas table. It is likely that this is also related to the period of the pandemic, when various types of digital addictions increased in the population.

The adventurous challenge launched by Samsung in response to the survey consists of 24 simple daily tasks. The call is open from 1 to 24 December and anyone can apply via the sklapnimobil.sk website.
