Samsung Galaxy S21 can be unlocked with your voice

According to website Sammobile the Samsung Galaxy S21 gets a new feature, allowing you to use your voice to unlock the phone. This would work through Bixby, the manufacturer’s smart assistant found on many Samsung phones. Instead of using the fingerprint scanner or facial recognition to unlock the Galaxy S21, you do this via voice command. The question is how safe the voice unlocking is. With a recording of your voice, others could still unlock the Galaxy S21, just as the facial recognition of many Android phones can be fooled with a photo.

Poco M3 official: budget smartphone of 149 euros with huge battery

With a suggested retail price of 149 euros, the Poco M3 is a real budget smartphone. The Poco M3 is particularly notable for its battery, which is huge with a capacity of 6000 mAh. According to Xiaomi, the smartphone lasts about three days with normal use. If you are a light user, you could even go without charging for five days. The screen is 6.53 inches in size and has a water drop notch. The resolution is 2340 by 1080 pixels and the edges around the display are fairly thin. On the back is a triple camera of 48, 2 and 2 megapixels respectively.

Motorola will launch an affordable flagship at the beginning of 2021

Motorola will present a high-end smartphone with a friendly price tag in early 2021. According to the German Technik News the ‘Motorola Nio’ gets a Snapdragon 865 chip. This processor is already in many high-end phones this year, such as the OnePlus 8T and Sony Xperia 5 II. Motorola is said to add 8 or 12GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage memory. It is not yet known how big the screen of Motorola’s affordable flagship will be. The resolution does: it is 2520 by 1080 pixels. The display also receives a refresh rate of at least 90Hz. That means animations look smoother and you scroll smoothly through social media.

Affordable Samsung Galaxy A12 and A02s to the Netherlands early next year

The Galaxy A12 and A02s are the latest budget smartphones from Samsung and will appear in the Netherlands early next year. The company has announced that the A12 will be for sale in January 2021, with the A02s following in February. The exact release dates are unclear and we do not yet know what the devices will cost. Samsung will announce this at a later time. The most important features of the Samsung Galaxy A12 and A02s are the large screen, the large battery and multiple cameras on the back. Both devices have a 6.5-inch screen and a 5000 mAh battery. The phones support fast charging with a maximum of 15 Watt, just like the Galaxy A41, Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A21s.

Sony brings back Compact line with new 5.5-inch smartphone

Sony may launch a new small phone in the Compact line in the first half of next year. This series of smartphones were sold a few years ago and were popular due to the handy size. The unannounced device would have a 5.5-inch screen, which is relatively compact. The new Sony phone is said to be a smaller version of the Xperia 1 III, which should succeed this year’s Xperia 1 II. The small device is said to have the still unannounced Snapdragon 775 processor. Furthermore, no specifications or other details are known yet.
