Samsung Galaxy S10, Note 10, Nokia 6.1 and 7.1 will receive security update February 2021

Several devices from Nokia and Samsung have received a new update. The new February update is ready for the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series, and this is also the case for various Nokia’s.

Samsung’s getting February update

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10e and S10 + will now receive the latest security update in the Netherlands. Samsung has prepared security update February 2021 for these smartphones. This update addresses several dozen vulnerabilities in the operating system and in the software. Samsung itself has also added patches for its own components. The same update is also issued directly to the devices in the Galaxy Note 10 series in our country; the Note 10 and Note 10+.

Nokia

This update is also available for various Nokia devices. For example, Wim and Han let know that they have been offered the security update of February on the Nokia 6.1. The update has a size of 41.95MB. As far as is known, no new functions or major adjustments are being made. HMD Global also releases the update for the Nokia 7.1. Although the changelog states that this is 2020-02, this is really the 2021 update.
