Samsung Galaxy A72 5G render has ‘only’ 4 cameras
Little has been written about the Galaxy A72 5G, after all, not much is known yet. Until now. Thanks to a smartphone case manufacturer, we have a view of a render and things are clear: from cameras to USB-C port location.

Samsung Galaxy A72 5G render has ‘only’ 4 cameras
The Galaxy A72 5G has a rectangular camera bulge with enough space for three main cameras, a fourth macro lens and an LED flash. According to the smartphone case manufacturer, the new middle-class smartphone from Samsung will not get a fifth lens. Korean media was hoping that the Galaxy A72 would become the first midrange phone with penta setup and active image stabilization. Unfortunately, if we believe this Samsung Galaxy A72 5G render, this is not the case.
You can also see that the volume button is located on the right side of the device. The bottom edge of the A72 5G is filled with the USB-C port, speaker grille and 3.5 millimeter audio port. This setup is exactly the same as that of the Samsung Galaxy A71.
The front of the device is also the same as the predecessor and thus meets the expectations of a Galaxy phone from the upper middle class. The Galaxy A72 5G has an Infinity-O display with a built-in fingerprint scanner. Infinity-O display is the name that Samsung gives to devices with minimal screen edges. Devices such as the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 also have this virtually borderless screen design.
Galaxy A72 5G specifications and Android warranty
What is going on under the hood of the Galaxy A72 5G is largely unknown. Website SamMobile guesses that the device is powered by the Exynos 1080 SoC processor. This is the new chipset from Samsung.
The same website also reported in August that the A-series is now guaranteed to receive three Android updates. During the Unpacked event 2020, Samsung announced that high-end smartphones will receive updates for longer. This guarantee is therefore aimed at devices such as Samsung S10 and newer phones. Samsung later confirmed this rumor. From now on, Galaxy A phones will also be provided with updates for longer.
