Samsung Galaxy A52 5G: the new king of mid-range is finally here

Competition is fierce in the mid-range smartphone market. It must be said that many Chinese brands have entered this buoyant market, between Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus or even Huawei. Not to worry about Samsung, however, which is determined to remain the leader in this segment, in particular thanks to its Galaxy A range. This is why in March 2021, the South Korean manufacturer launched the Galaxy A52 5G, a particularly attractive smartphone, for several reasons. First, and you will understand by its name, the Galaxy A52 is 5G compatible thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor.

Top of the range at a controlled price

Note that this chip is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, enough to ensure excellent performance. But what better way to take advantage of this power than a beautiful screen? Samsung has always been a leader in this field, and proves it once again with this superb 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel in FHD + definition 2400 x 1500 pixels and a resolution of 407 DPI. All with a refresh rate of 120 Hz!

Difficult to find better on a mid-range. It’s not over since the Galaxy A52 5G also benefits from a generous 4500 mAh battery compatible with 25W fast charging. Enough to last a day and a half without batting an eyelid. The photo part is not to be outdone with a solid quadruple main sensor composed of a very good 64 MP main module with optical image stabilization, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle, a 5 MP macro lens and a 5 MP depth of field dedicated sensor. A photo offer completed by a 32 MP selfie sensor.

A cheaper 4G version

Best of all, the Galaxy A52 5G is IP67 certified. In other words, the device is splash-proof and can withstand submersion up to one meter deep. Note that this certification is rather rare on mid-range devices. Let’s conclude this presentation with the price of the Galaxy A52 5G, undoubtedly one of its main strengths. Indeed, Samsung offers the Galaxy A52 5G at only € 449, enough to taste the joys of 5G at a lower cost. And if 5G is not the priority, you can turn to the 4G version of the Galaxy A52 offered from € 379. However, it will be necessary to be satisfied with a 90 Hz panel instead of 120 Hz.

A refund offer + the return of your old device

If you find that € 449 is still too large a sum, know that until May 31, 2021, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G goes to € 399 thanks to a refund offer of € 50. This price can still be lowered since Samsung takes back your old device up to 105 € depending on the model and condition of it, even if your smartphone is not Samsung brand.

By combining the recovery and the ODR, the smartphone can then go from € 449 to € 294. And there, it’s downright a golden case.
