Also a MediaTek processor
A Geekbench score of the Samsung Galaxy A24 has been leaked. According to this score, the successor to the Galaxy A23 will have a MediaTek chip. We see specifications – such as the processor cores mentioned – that indicate the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Just like the Galaxy A14 5G, Samsung seems to opt for a MediaTek processor instead of a self-produced Exynos chip.
It is rumored that Samsung will also opt for a processor from MediaTek for the Galaxy A34. There is a good chance with the latter device that there will be two variants. We will probably see the variant that uses the MediaTek chip in Europe. Whether Samsung has the same plan for the A24 – and will therefore also launch two variants of this smartphone – is not yet known.
