Samsung Galaxy A20e gets Android 11; Nokia X20 with May Patch

Samsung and Nokia are making a new update available for one of their devices. There is good news for the Samsung Galaxy A20e for which Android 11 is being distributed. In addition, there is a security update ready for the Nokia X20.

Android 11 for Galaxy A20e

Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Samsung Galaxy A20e in the Netherlands and Belgium. Bram informs DroidApp that his smartphone is being updated with the Android 11 update. Thanks to this update, new functions are added to the device. From now on you get more privacy settings, improved notifications and a better music player. In addition, Samsung has also made some adjustments to the interface with the update to One UI 3.1. Several system apps have also been updated with improvements and optimizations.

Samsung also gives the Galaxy A20e the May security update. All together it concerns an update of almost 2GB in size. According to the previously published schedule, the update to Android 11 was planned for the Galaxy A20e for July. As with more devices, Samsung is ahead of the schedule that was previously distributed.

Nokia X20

HMD Global has also prepared an update for the Nokia X20. We discussed the most recently released device from the manufacturer in our extensive Nokia X20 review. So now it’s time for an update. Wim informs DroidApp that his smartphone has received a security update in May 2021. The update with version V1.270 is 399MB in size and therefore quite large in size.

In the changelog, Nokia further promises improved system stability and user interface improvements. Those with a Nokia X20 can now download the new security patch on their smartphone.
