Samsung Galaxy A20 is a cheap model with the latest Android

The Samsung Galaxy A20 has already been updated to Android 10 and the manufacturer has now released another major update to Android 11. The Sammobile portal informed about it. We often don’t see two big updates for cheap models, so we have to praise Samsung.

The first country where the update was available is Russia. It is slowly reaching other countries, including Slovakia. The firmware version is labeled A205FNPUUACUF1. In addition to Android 11, it also brings a new extension, probably One UI 3.1, but this version is not confirmed. If you received the update, let us know which version of the extension came with it.

The update also includes the latest June security patch. In addition, it brings new widgets for the lock screen, new Always On display options, automatic switching for Galaxy Buds and other news.

Your smartphone should offer you an update automatically. If not, you can search for it manually in the settings. To catch it, we recommend either a sufficiently large data package from the operator, or a Wi-Fi connection. Before updating, make sure you have a sufficiently charged battery.

The competition is also updating

Other manufacturers are trying to update their models to the latest Android 11 operating system. Recently received smartphones from Motorola, namely Motorola moto g 5G plus and Motorola one action. Realme 6 Pro and Realme 7 Pro were also added in April. Nokia has released a complete upgrade plan that includes older, low-cost models.
