Samsung began to fight harder against the leakage of its ideas

That is why we often witness various patent wars and fights over whose software or hardware is the original and the copy. So it is understandable that you get big companies like Samsung, Google or Apple it guards its know-how very much. The first named company is now said to be preparing big ones in this regard tightening conditions for its employees as well. Samsung is reportedly imposing tougher sanctions against leaks from its factories, mainly to bring information to Chinese competitors.

In recent years, several large cases have been resolved in which this giant has sued its own employee for industrial espionage or an attempt to sell classified information. The last one stretches from last year and applies to OLED displays. This segment is very important for Samsung and it is said that it is introducing new measures in it. Employees are prohibited from taking photos or filming on mobile phones in the workplace, and even paper in printers is equipped with identification foils. An alarm is triggered when someone tries to take it out. Even government agencies are involved in investigating these transgressions. South Korea considers the production of displays there to be very important for the whole state.

Samsung tougher sanctions against information leaks

China is dragging employees with information

Although Samsung is imposing tougher sanctions against leaks that it can enforce “on its own”, there is another big problem. One that the company does not have much chance to influence. Chinese companies are succeeding in attracting employees to their factories. Often said with high entry bonuses depending on how much they could know from their field and share it. Of course, the change of employer itself is not illegal, however, Korean workers are said to often change their names after joining Chinese companies. They are well aware of how they would be viewed and do not want to be traceable. Often these are even experienced engineers.
