Reinstall iOS on an iPhone 13 with no ports

How can you reinstall iOS on an iPhone 13 without ports? One possible solution is this.

If you now have an iPhone and want to reinstall iOS, you need to connect the phone to your computer or Mac via cable. But if the rumors are true and the iPhone 13 has no ports, how are you going to do that? You can of course already guess the answer.

Apple needs to come up with an online solution. According to Appleosophy, the American tech company is launching a new option called Internet Recovery. This will undoubtedly be given a different name in Dutch.

iPhone 13 without ports

There are three methods linked to Internet Recovery to reinstall iOS on iPhone 13 without ports. Option one is to send the file from a Mac or PC to the iPhone via a wireless internet connection from iTunes. You must then put the iPhone into recovery mode yourself. Option two is similar, except the iPhone switches itself into this mode. And option three is to receive the file via Bluetooth, if no wireless internet connection is available. The latter will be more of an emergency solution, because Bluetooth with large files is no fun.

The new iPhone 13 will appear in the autumn of 2021. It remains to be seen whether the smartphone, or a variant thereof, will indeed be marketed without ports. It would be a big change on Apple’s side.
