‘Prices Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 have been leaked, rise to 500 euros’

Samsung’s Unpacked event for the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip, Galaxy Buds 2 and the Galaxy Watch 4 series is expected to take place in August. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (Classic)

After the existence of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 was fired last week, rumor makers came to the conclusion this week that the Active watch does exist, and that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will be followed by the Watch 4 Classic. Samsung will announce this year that the Active model will be released as the regular Galaxy Watch 4, while the non-Active model will take place in the Classic series. It was also announced that Samsung is launching four different watch sizes with its Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic watches. Prices Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Series

Reportedly, the suggested retail prices for the 40mm variant of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 fluctuate between 350 and 370 euros. If you prefer to buy the larger 44mm version, you may pay between 380 and 400 euros for your Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. What prices will apply to the Dutch market remains unknown for the time being.

Prices of Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 Classic are only known for the 42mm and 46mm models. If you want a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, you have to dig a lot deeper into your pocket than is necessary for the regular Watch 4. According to the website, the 42mm model gets a target price of 470 euros. Those who purchase the larger 46mm model may be able to add another 20 euros for a price of 500 euros.

If the prices mentioned are correct, then the price of a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch is considerably higher than was the case with the Galaxy Watch 3 or Galaxy Watch 2 Active. Samsung launched the Watch 3 with a suggested retail price of 429 euros for the 41mm model and 459 euros for the model that received a 45mm housing. If we look at the Watch Active 2’s suggested retail prices from 2019, we see a slight increase for the 40mm model – from 300 euros to 350 euros – while Samsung prices the larger model just slightly lower than in 2019, at a maximum of 400 euros compared to from 419 euros in 2019.

Launch early August?

It is still unknown when Samsung intends to launch the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Classic 4 on the market. Samsung is expected to launch the watches together with the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 3. As in 2020, Samsung is expected to schedule an event in early August to unveil the devices.
