We see that 5G smartphones are becoming more affordable and that you do not have to spend a thousand euros for it. Oppo is now releasing a competitor for the Galaxy A42 5G from Samsung. The new Oppo A73 5G comes on the market for 329 euros.

Oppo A73 5G announced

Oppo has just announced a new smartphone which is entering the mid-market segment. It is about the Oppo A73 which has support for the 5G network. With the arrival of this device, the range of affordable 5G smartphones is much larger. In this segment we saw, for example, the Samsung Galaxy A42 earlier.

The Oppo A73 5G has a 6.5-inch Full-HD + LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. According to Oppo, this provides a smooth and responsive viewing experience, at the level of a flagship device. Furthermore, the smartphone is equipped with a triple camera with 16MP main lens, 8MP wide angle camera and 2MP monochrome sensor. The camera has AI, 15 different filters and must also take good photos at night, according to the manufacturer. An 8 megapixel camera is placed in front.

On board the device we find a 4040 mAh battery that can be charged with 18W. Furthermore, there is no less than 8GB of RAM available and there is 128GB of storage space. According to Oppo, the battery is used in an efficient way, with which the battery life is optimized during the day or while sleeping. There is a MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset and Android 10 has the ColorOS 7.2 skin with various useful options.

You can purchase the Oppo A73 5G from December 3 at Coolblue, Ritel. The price comes to 329 euros.
