Polestar drivers can now watch NPO Start in the car
As of today, NPO Start can be streamed directly to the Polestar 2’s infotainment system. This is an integration of NPO Start with Polestar’s video streaming app (beta).

Polestar and Android Automotive
The Polestar 2 was the world’s first car with Android Automotive at its launch. Android Automotive is made especially for cars. With this you can not only control Android apps such as Google Maps or Spotify, but also things such as the air conditioning, sunroof or windows. The Google Assistant and a Play Store are also present.
One of the great advantages of Android Automotive in the Polestar 2 is the ease with which developers can adapt their apps for this platform and integrate them directly into the car. NPO Start is the latest example of this.
NPO Start looking in the car
With NPO Start, Polestar riders can now watch NPO’s huge range of series, documentaries and programs on the large central display of the car.
To avoid distraction while driving, the video streaming app (beta) can only be viewed when the car is stationary. However, while driving, the audio continues in the background, if desired, so that the occupants can continue to listen to the stream.
Polestar’s video streaming app is easy to download into the Polestar 2 infotainment system and provides instant access to NPO Start.
