The space-time distortions are large spheres that appear throughout the gameplay of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Inside you will find special Pokémon and items. Everything you need to know about the space-time distortion and which Pokémon you can catch there, we’ll tell you here.

Unlock & find space-time distortions

You cannot visit the disturbances in the space-time structure from the beginning. Only after you defeated the king of the forest Axantor and Completed Main Mission 7 Professor Laven will explain the mechanics of space-time distortions to you in Red Marshland.

You should internalize the following properties of the violet spheres:

• A space-time distortion always spawns randomly in the game world, so you cannot actively trigger it. However, they seem to appear more often the more tasks you complete in the Pokédex.
• As soon as a space-time distortion appears, you will receive a corresponding notification and the Your location will even be marked on the map.
• It takes about 5 minutes for a space-time distortion to form.
• If you sleep in a base camp or quit and restart the game, the space-time distortion will disappear again! For example, you cannot save and reload beforehand to re-enter the sphere. So seize the opportunity when a space-time distortion appears!
• There are some Pokémon that only appear in space-time distortions. Depending on the area where the orb appears, there are others here exclusive Pokemon (See table below).
• You will also find rare items (See list below) in the space-time distortions.

In the following table you can see which exclusive Pokémon are in each area’s space-time distortions. This also includes, for example, the starter Pokémon, which, however, only appear in the spheres after the main story.
