POCO X2 receives an update on Android 11

POCO X2 receives an update to the new version of the MIUI extension, which is based on the Android 11 system. A few weeks after POCO promised to update this device, it started testing the latest version. According to a recent report, this test is allegedly completed and the update to Android 11 will slowly start reaching users, informs the AdimorahBlog portal.

The update on Android 11 is currently only available to selected POCO X2 owners

The update is labeled RGHINXM, 2.4 GB in size, and the device updates to MIUI version 12.1.2.0. It brings with it new features of Android 11, several improvements and January security patches.

The update is marked as “Beta Stable”, which means that only a few selected users will receive it. It will not reach other users until a few days later after the company is sure that it does not contain any serious errors.

How’s competition with updates?

Samsung is updating its devices on Android 11 in the new year. The Galaxy M31, Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 + and Galaxy Fold models received an update this month. Conversely, the update for the Samsung Galaxy S10 was suspended due to errors it caused.

Several Sony models have also been updated in the new year. Specific devices Xperia 5 II, Xperia 1 and Xperia 5.
