Pixel phones from Google will be on top again, Android 12 will bring them an interesting new feature

Looks like Pixel phones from Google could be on top again. Most mobile phone manufacturers today are competing to offer better technical specifications, more cameras, a better processor and so on for their flagship phone. However, the technology giant Google has decided to go the other way with its smartphones, which may not technically dazzle, but after the software one it probably will.

And thanks to the upcoming tweak, which should appear already in Android 12, Pixels could have the upper hand in front of other smartphones, we are talking about automatic translation of applications. This undoubtedly interesting information was revealed by one of the attentive users of the XDA forum, who was browsing through the source codes of the beta version of Android 12 for Pixel devices.

Most of our readers certainly know the “Google Translator” web browser extension, which more or less reliably translates the entire web page being viewed. However, such an option is not available for phone applications, but this should change with the advent of Android 12 on Pixel phones.

According to available indications, Google is working on a software solution that would automatically translate the content of every application that will be in a language other than the system language of the phone. For the time being, however, the question remains whether it will be possible to turn off the automatic translation function and, most importantly, how accurate the translation will be. Each of us will surely remember at least one joke on the topic of Google Translator. Either way, it would definitely be a big plus for Google’s Pixel phones.

For which applications would you appreciate this tweak?
