Photoshop trumps: Impressive AI image processing is launched
Photoshop is one of the most powerful programs in the field of image software – and is now going one better. With Firefly developer Adobe has its own artificial intelligence up its sleeve, which is now making its first steps with Photoshop. First information show: The AI charges immediately.

If the desired result cannot be achieved, users restore the original “loss-free” at any time, promises Adobe in a message.
Big problem identified: Adobe ensures security for images
Adobe also solved a key problem in the development of Firefly’s generative AI: “The AI was trained on millions of licensed, high-resolution images from Adobe Stock to ensure that Firefly will not generate content based on the intellectual property of another person or brand”according to the company.
This should provide legal certainty for users, since the AI should not be able to infringe the copyrights of others – a potential one Advantage over open source AI, where this danger can hardly be ruled out, at least so far. Photoshop’s Generative Fill is now available as a beta version for the desktop. A web version of the Firefly AI is also in open beta. The general launch of AI features in Photoshop is for the second half of 2023 intended.
