Phonegate alert calls into question an ANSES report on 5G

The Alerte Phonegate association has just issued its opinion on the latest ANSES report on 5G. With the Robin des Toits association, they denounce a relationship that is more political than scientific.

A few weeks earlier, ANSES unveiled a new report on 5G in France. An investigation commissioned by the government to remove doubts about the new generation mobile network. The conclusions put forward felt that no major health risk on 5G was to be deplored. A position denounced by Alerte Phonegate and the Robins des Toits association, which demand a moratorium and a public consultation on the network with specialists in the field.

Alerte Phonegate delivers its counter-expertise to ANSES on June 1

The report delivered by ANSES on April 20 was intended to be reassuring. At present, the frequency bands currently deployed in the various French metropolises do not constitute a health risk. This only applies to a range from 700 Hz to 3.5 GHz. These are operated by Orange, Bouygues Telecom, SFR and Free on their 5G antennas. Already at the time, Alerte Phongate was concerned about a report apart from the facts concerning the waves emitted by the smartphones themselves. In a 52-page counter expertise, the association helped by Robin des Toits denounces this report.

Rest assured, if you wish to read the second opinion, it will be made public from June 1 once delivered to ANSES. On its site, the association already provides comments and proposals. Phonegate Alert calls for more public grants for independent scientific studies around 5G. One of the findings of the report is that there is still little information on the new generation network. It also recalls the need for a national and European moratorium on the issue.
